Barrett Strong "Make up your mind" (Tollie)

From the guy who brought you "Money (that's what I want)", one of Motown's earliest hit records, comes this great slice of Chicago soul. I'm going to speculate here that Barrett Strong left Motown shortly after "Money" and went to Chicago for several years, writing many songs with Charles Barksdale of the Dells and Wade Flemons, ex-Chicago crooner and soon-to-be member of Earth Wind and Fire (however briefly), and producing various Chicago-based acts with little success before he went back to Motown in the late 60's to become part of the legendary "Whitfield - Strong" team after the departure of Holland brothers and Lamont Dozier from Berry Gordy's Detroit empire.
